- It's advised to verify the details such as correctness of the transaction entered in the voucher, accuracy of the currency purchased, the remaining cash balances, the amount debited from the POS machine etc. before signing the voucher or leaving the branch as the case maybe. Gulf Exchange will not be accountable for any discrepancy claims at a later stage.
- Gulf Exchange is not responsible for the delays or return of remittance due to incorrect details provided by the customer. Subsequent charges related to new transaction, shall be collected from the customer and in case of a refund, the transfer amount will be refunded at prevailing purchase rate on the refund date after deducting the correspondent charges, provided our correspondent confirms that the transfer is unpaid.
- Cancellation request of any transaction shall be processed only at same branch where the transaction was performed. The presence of the customer with valid ID & Original of transaction receipt is mandatory. Remitter is eligible to get only the amount received from destination bank, less charges if any.
- It is the responsibility of customer to obtain original transaction voucher with signature of the counter staff for any service he/she availed from Gulf Exchange
- Transactions through MTOs (Western union, RIA, Dahabshiil, Prabhu money, City Express, Shift, Trans fast) and the Products such as (prepaid or multicurrency cards) are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective entities.
- Gulf Exchange does not guarantee on the exact time and days required to credit the amount to the beneficiary's account and cannot be held responsible for any delay in remittance arising out of acts beyond its control such as natural disaster, telecommunication breakdown.
- The refund for transactions done through cheque, POS shall be processed to the same bank account number used for performing the transaction, no cash refund shall be done under any circumstances.
- The currency or gold sold will be purchased at the prevailing market rate. In the event of any returns or cancellations - whether on the same day or at a later date - the transaction will also be settled based on the market rate in effect at the time of return or cancellation.
- Customers intending to sell their gold must present the original purchase invoice. In the absence of this document, a police report must be obtained and submitted to GE.
- Customer acknowledge that the transaction performed are free from any criminal, illegal purposes including money laundering & terrorism financing.
- All transactions and services provided by Gulf Exchange are subject to the rules and regulations of the Qatar Central Bank. The customer is agreed to provide additional information if any required at any time during and after the transaction as part of verification purpose.
- Transfer paid by cheque is executed after confirming the cheque is cleared and the amount is credited to company's bank account.
